Pedestrian crossing at Wareham train station facing closure

posted 18 Nov 2009 12:18 by Lytchett Matravers Parish Council
Due to safety issues it is reported that there are plans to close the pedestrian crossing at Wareham train station. Not really an issue for Lytchett Matravers villagers unless they use it as a cut through and can't use the foot bridge.

Purbeck District Council has been fighting the closure as has Annette Brooke in Parliament. The final decision is with the rail authority.
