Frequently Asked Questions
Here you'll find a list of questions the Parish Council has been asked and our answers. Always check here before asking a question of the Council.

Have the Council investigated potential for Council owned affordable housing?
The scheme used by Worth Matravers won't work for a village the size of Lytchett Matravers. However, this is a matter for Purbeck District Council rather than the Parish Council. That said, it is possible that something maybe achievable via the Regional Spacial Strategy plan, but this will take time and possibly money that the Council don't have.

What's being done to consider the proposals Ken Morgan presented at the Annual Parish Meeting?
Councillor Miller is working on progressing some of the ideas that the Parish Council have for improving the village centre around the High Street. Progressing these ideas will take time, but we hope there are some "quick wins". If you have and thoughts for how to improve the village centre then send them to us.
